Meet Yolanda Mendoza
Licensed Professional Counselor
About Yolanda
Compassionate support grounded in experience and cultural understanding.
As a Spanish-speaking, bilingual counselor, my goal is to meet clients exactly where they are emotionally. I strive to provide a safe, supportive environment where individuals can gain the tools they need to feel empowered, understood, and grounded.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with clients in a variety of settings, including crisis intervention, family violence support, trauma counseling, and community outreach. I earned my Master of Science in Community Counseling from Georgia State University and served as a crisis counselor for the Austin Police Department, working closely with individuals experiencing acute stress, grief, and trauma.
I have also provided counseling in hospital, group, family, and individual settings, and worked as a grief counselor in hospice environments supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families.
My passion is helping people navigate difficult moments with compassion, clarity, and strength.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing.
